BANG BANG its 9.00 and war has begun against Germany. Lots of young nervous men are sloping down in our crumbling trenchers waiting for orders. I lay in the trench listening to the sound of bullets shattering past my head. I have no idea what is going to happen next WILL I DIE OR WILL I LIVE. These words are racing through my head like the speed of a machine gun firing. Thats when i hear this GET YOUR GUNS READY shouted general haddock. My mate lies next to me getting his grip on his gun. 3  2  1  GO as i watch all the young nervous men running out of the trench trying to dodge the firing bullets. I jump out the trench and there they were the german soldiers all lined up and firing rapidly. BANG BANG BANG AAAAARRRRRRHHHHHH i hear the sound of men crying, screaming and praying what do i do? Do i shoot or could that make it worse. I say to myself well its time to find out BANG i fire thinking it would strike someone. Then my mate louise whispers in my ear very quietly this is the end of us. RATA TAT TAT the german bully goes of that is what we called the german machine gun because it has killed a lot of young men. RATA TAT TAT AAAAAARRRRRRRHHHHHHH im hit shouts louise as i stare into his eyes straight away i knew that i will have to get revenge on these germans.

Learning Term 1

Some Learning i have enjoyed this term is working with numbers like rounding them or ordering them to biggest to smallest and saying the numbers up to a trillion. I really enjoyed that is because i love to read and round numbers and order them.


I have made progress with learning my division facts because i have bean teaching my self at home. Nearly every night i hop on to the computer and practice drilling my self on the division facts. I also get my dad to help me with them.

            Te Wera Camp 2015

A fun event at Camp:

I Loved the great Te Wera challenge. It was a beautiful day. Why i loved the Te Wera challenge was because we did all this challenging activities that i found interesting, strange and exciting. All of the activities were amazing. My favourite activity was when we had to climb to the top a massive massive hill. I am use to climbing big hills but not as steep as what this hill was. i was sort of annoyed that we had to climb this beast. When we got to the top of the hill we had to make a pyramid which nearly made me faint. I tried to look for things out in the area but i couldn't see much because there are so many Big hills. And the Camp looked tiny. When everybody was up the big! hill we started to plan what it would look like. We put the people that was heavy at the bottom and the light at the top i had Wilson on my back and he was digging his knees in my back. after the parents took the picture i accidentally slipped it was hilarious.

A wonderful learning moment:

Me and My brilliant group were following Nick. I kept asking Nick how much further in my most terrible voice. Not Much further explains Nick ehhhhhhhh i said this sucks. Finally we make it i say my legs feel like Jelly. Then Nick gave us all simple instructions you guys are going to make bivi using rope and 1 tarp. I say yeah right how are we going to do this. Nick then says GO!!! Nick passes the rope to me and passes the tarp to Ethan. Time passes and we have only 1 minute left and i am sitting in the bivi with Shanelle as you can hear everybody shouting at one of another we need to do this or we should do this or HURRY UP. it was funny Times up don't touch it says Nick he examines it he is not very happy oh no someone has got a grumpy face. He takes our group up to a little area to teach us how to build a bivi. And how to survive. I like to learn about surviving in the wild or learning survival first aid skills. Nick taught my whole group and another group. How to make a little shelter that i found was interesting. He taught us what things we need to bring you never know you could end up lost. My butt was getting saw because i was sitting on twigs and branches it hurt i said crap. i am so lucky because Nick is my neighbor so that works out well.

school camp

Room 11 10 and some of room 9 we all are going to Te Wera Camp. I am very excited about school camp because i love! water slides because how you zoom down the slide and like to crash into the bottom of the slide at the end. I cant wait to go down the water slide I also like to kayak its awesome how you move swish to side to side and how the water sploshes against the kayak. and it is funny how you move using the paddle it interests me. Its fantastic when you get free time because you get to do lots of fun bits and bobs.

Feelings:
I am not feeling worried because i have been to a school camp. But i wonder if possums will come into who ever i am with cabin. I am also worried about that it will rain hopefully it wont.


Also what i am excited about is the food they camp you get lots of yummy FOOD i hope i will have a great time.

Rileys fun week

Hey Mr A i had a fun week with you and i cant really remember what happened so i will try my best. We will start with Maths i really LOVE how to say numbers up too 1,000,000. It was so exciting it turned up it was so easy. I remember the Knowledge toolkit and the Skills tool kit The knowledge tool kit is about the things you Know. And the Skills tool kit is about the things you Do. OK Swimming my goal for swimming is to breath to the side. I love swimming i like to be under the water i don't care if it is cold. I thought W.I.T.T would be easy but it is hard i really want to make a Google site. I learnt what Resuscitation means they do it to someone that is unconscious it is like CPR.
